Search and Selection
The choice of human resources has become as important as it is delicate: every time that the introduction of a candidate is considered, it is necessary to evaluate the investment in terms of time and training.
The common hope is that the candidate can match initial expectations: that thy are passionate about their work, that they are able to integrate into a team, that they possess leadership skills and problem-solving abilities and all those requirements that are considered to be fundamental in order to take on a determined company role.
The more delicate the role that a candidate has to perform in a company, the more difficult becomes their selection.
Alma acts so that this choice can be more discerning, but simple at the same time: as a qualified partner, it is able to offer an efficient and precise service with predefined time scheduling.
In order to be able to provide an effective search and selection service it is necessary, first of all, to start from the client’s expectations, ideas and requirements.
The starting point for both Alma and for the customer must be a clear and detailed description of the person that they are searching for; what will be their duties and their responsibilities?; who will they have to work with and who will they have to coordinate? Alma seeks to select the best candidate for that role and for that company; there are no profiles more or less suited in absolute terms and Alma’s selectors’ task is to understand if candidates can match the client’s expectations.
A candidate’s Job Description defined with the client becomes the common thread for the entire selection process; from the publication of the job advertisements, to consultation of databanks, to screening CVs and as far as the individual interviews, the candidates must be assessed in relation to the particular job and the particular company context in which they are to work.
When Alma delivers to the client the shortlist of candidates that have passed the selection procedure, it also offers the client a suitably detailed comparative framework. The client, in fact, receives, together with the profiles, also the impressions of the selectors, an opinion on the candidates’ strengths and expectations.
If the profiles proposed receive a positive opinion also on the part of the client, Alma arranges to fix further meeting so that the client can identify the most suitable from the candidates proposed.
